Ronald “Ron” Ralph Andrews – of Owen Sound, and formerly of Neyaashiinigmiing, passed peacefully at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Monday October 16, 2023. Loving husband of the late Susanne “Susan” Joan Andrews (nee Cannon) who passed in 2022. Dear father of Amanda Andrews (partner Steve Teekens), of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Lacey and Baila Ashkewe. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Elsie Andrews; brother, Willard Andrews; sister, Judy Ashkewe; brothers-in-law, Joseph and Billy Cannon; and sister-in-law, Diane Cannon. Family wish to express their thanks to the staff of Chapman House for the wonderful care given to Ronald. Friends are invited to visitation at the Maadookii Senior Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing, on Thursday October 19, 2023 from 12-1 PM, where a service to celebrate Ron’s life will be conducted at 1 o’clock.
