Beth McLeod-Stadelbauer passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her Neyaashiinigmiing home on Tuesday May 20, 2025. The former Elizabeth Adelle McLeod at the age of 73 years. Dear mother of Pauline Stadelbauer (Papa Steve), Roxane (Rick Boron), Cherie (Wolfgang Weingarten), Jennifer Stadelbauer (Steve Sack), Jon Stadelbauer (Robin), and Jaclyn Stadelbauer (Josh Parker); and step-mother of Tracy Nicol (Ellen). Loving Nana of Codi, Carrie, Victoria, Richard “R.J.”, Samantha, Kyle, Shealynne, Orianna, Jackson, Layla, Christopher, and Landen; and great-grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Donald McLeod (Ernestine), Leonard McLeod (Cynthia), Beverly (Rodney Soonias), and Lawrence McLeod. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews; “the family of my heart” Lorne and Bernice Hill; and ‘the son of my heart”, Eric Weltz. Predeceased by her parents Charles “Pat” and Doris McLeod; husband, Jack Stadelbauer; partner, Douglas Walls; brothers, William and Randy; sister, Victoria; grandson, Charles Boron; and step-daughter, Melissa Weland. Friends may call at the Cape Croker Community Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing for visitation from on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where a service to celebrate Beth’s life will occur on Friday at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids hospital would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041.     My condolences to all of Beth’s loved ones. She was so instrumental in my early times here at Cape, always willing to help even when it was obvious she experienced quite a lot of pain. Beth volunteered everywhere she could, and was a huge role model for me on how to be a good community member. She will be missed greatly.

    Prayers for peace and comfort to all of the members of Beth’s family. Ray and I wish we could be home with you as you pass into your new existence. You were both cousin and sister as we were growing up and you will truly be missed. A donation will be made to the Sick Children’s Hospital in London, Ontario in your name. ♥️

    Just saw today that Beth had passed away.. She rented me a room in her house for a month or two when I was first teaching at the school on Cape. She helped me get my bearings and was hospitable and a very good cook. My condolences to her family and friends.
