Betty Burke, peacefully at Country Lane Long Term Care in Chatsworth on Monday February 16, 2026. Elizabeth Olive Burke (nee Cleveland) at the age of 90 years. Devoted mother of Brenda (Don Baker), Beth Walpole, and Bob Burke. Cherished grandmother of Rick, Amanda, Heather, Melissa, Kianna, Crystal, and Jamie; great-grandmother of Courtney, Jade, Christian, Lincoln, Owen, Kenley, Chloe, Gabrielle, Aria and Olivia; and great-great-grandmother of Timothy, Oliver, and Lucas. Dear sister of Lillian (late Edwin Rowe); and sister-in-law of Marlene Craig. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Glen Mills; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Aden and Olive Cleveland; husband William “Bud” (2016); daughter, Kim Mills (2012); siblings, Mae, Marjorie, Mary, Sylvia, Cyril, Carl, and Cecil (Heather); by Bud’s siblings; and by her fur-baby, Teddy. Family wish to thank the staff of Country Lane for the amazing care given to their mom. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Betty’s life will take place at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Friday February 27, 2026 from 2-4 PM.
