Brian George - Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral & Chapel

Brian Clifford George – of Saugeen First Nation #29, peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at the age of 74 years. Devoted husband and best friend of Cheryl (nee Roote). Dear father of Brian Jr. “BJ” (Samantha), of Kingsville, and Brent, of Saugeen First Nation. Sadly missed by his chosen son, Adam Andruski; special sister, Ningwakwe “Priscilla”; special sister-in-law, Fay Roote; brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; special nieces, Dani and Bella; nieces and nephews; and his furry friends, Pixie and Diago. Predeceased by his mother, Grace Mandawoub; his daughter, Sheila George (2013); and brothers and a sister. Family wish to express their gratitude to the nursing staff of Summit Place, and to the ER doctors and nursing staff of the Owen Sound.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
