Brian John Searle, born in Devon, UK and lately of Shallow Lake, ON, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 27, 2026 at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of Patricia (nee Miles) for almost 50 years. Proud father of twins Nicholas (partner Laura) of Cambridge, UK, and Timothy (partner Courtney), of Waterdown, ON. Dear “Papa” of Rowan, Jack, Graeme, and Neve.
Brian came to Canada with his family in 1981 to open a North American division of W.S. Atkins Realis Engineering, and International Engineering company. He continued in the Professional Engineering field finally creating his own Tech company.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Brightshores Health System Wiarton and Owen Sound for the wonderful care given to Brian.
