December 3, 2024 at 3:04 pmDear Jane, Patti, and family – I was saddened to hear of Charlie’s health decline and recent passing as I remember the kind-hearted man he was from my memories in Trowbridge. I can picture his grin and calm demeanor as I recall his presence in the family groups that bonded together when I was young. Growing up with Patti and Steven were like a village family, and everyone’s parents were extensions of our childhood friendships. My thoughts are with you all, and I will continue to send love your way as you wade through the emotions of your tremendous loss. With love, Kim xo

December 5, 2024 at 12:41 pmOh Jane, that is so sad. While I don’t know how it feels to lose a life partner, I can imagine it is a mix of grief and relief, deep sadness and happy memories. I barely knew Charlie, but he struck me as funny, warm and kind. I will be out of the country when the funeral happens, so I won’t be there, and for that I am sorry. When I think of Charlie, I will smile. I’ll see you at the range later in the winter, I hope! Deborah
