Doug McLeod, of Sauble Beach, peacefully at Chapman House – Owen Sound on Friday February 13, 2026. Douglas Robert McLeod at the age of 78 years. Loving partner of Vickie Williams for over 28 years. Father of Nicole McLeod; and step-father of Jason Closs (Tara Williams). Papa-Doug to Ava, Sophie, and Shade. Brother of Karen McLeod, Gerry-Lynn McLeod (Brian Hixenbough), Karl Korsmeier, and Jeff Korsmeier; and brother-in-law of Don Williams (Jane), Sandra Williams (Rui Ramos), David Williams (friend Gord), and Patricia Williams. Sadly missed by Stephen Closs (Lisa), and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Gerry McLeod, and by his mother, Betty (nee Compton) and her husband Otto Korsmeier. Family wish to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Brightshores Health System Owen Sound ICU, CCU, and Medicine floor for the wonderful care given to Doug.
