Grace Ross of Wiarton, peacefully at Gateway Haven Long Term Care on Tuesday March 11, 2025. Grace Marie Ross (nee Lamont) at the age of 94 years. Beloved aunt of Georgina Boily, Penny Goosen, Sherry Fergusson, and Wendy Lamont. Sadly missed by her loving friend, Bill Bennett; good friends, Marg Miller, and Linda Isbester; and special neighbours, Sue and Jay. Predeceased by her parents, William and Grace; and brothers, John Lamont, George Lamont, Art Lamont, and Len Lamont. Grace was a longstanding member of the Ontario Massed Legion Pipes and Drums for 44 years, and the McLaren Pipe Band for 7 years. Family wish to thank Bruce Peninsula Hospice, and the doctors and staff of Gateway Haven. A service to celebrate Grace’s life will occur at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, Wiarton on Tuesday May 20, 2025 at 1 o’clock, with visitation one hour prior. Interment in Colpoy’s Bay Cemetery. Donations to the Friends of Gateway would be appreciated.
