Judy Pomeroy April 28, 2026

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Pomeroy, born in Kitchener on June 22, 1943 who passed away peacefully in her sleep after a courageous battle with dementia. Survived by her loving husband of 65 years John; children, Danny (Michele), Sherry (Jamie), Lisa, and Jason; grandchildren, Meghan, Jennifer (Cam), Braden (Mariana), Brenden (Megan), Jordyn (Filip); and great grandchildren, Aydenn and Phoenix. Survived by sister Diane Gamble; brothers-in-law Clare Pomeroy (Yvonne), David Pomeroy (Mei Mei); nieces Lorie Lehman, and Kelly Krampien; and nephews Chris Pomeroy, Kevin & Kerry Gamble.
Judy was an avid reader and crafts enthusiast. She found immense pleasure in the simple joys of life, whether zipping around in her convertible bug, or indulging her grandchildren with cuddles, games, and late-night movies.

Cherished Memories of her Children & Husband

Danny: “My mother was good at being a mom. What stands out the most to me were the summers spent in Kincardine at mom and dad’s trailer. Each and every day, mom would pack coolers with lunch, snacks, drinks, towels, toys, and down the hill we would go to Boiler Beach for the day, enjoying the sun, the sand and picturesque water, and having fun with new or old friends made for awesome times! She will be greatly missed by all !”

Sherry: “I remember all the times I crawled in bed with her, even as a adult. We would lay there, laughing, giggling and snorting over the things that only we found funny! You will always be the “BEST” mommy ever! Until we meet again… remember I love you.”

Lisa: “I will always cherish that Mom sang Happy Birthday to me every year for 60 years. Love You Mom.”

Jason: “There are so many good memories and thoughts I have of my Mom. Most important is that I couldn’t have asked for a better mother and wouldn’t have changed anything about her. She had a great sense of humor and I could always make her laugh, even if I was pushing the limits. She was always there for me, no matter what. She took good care of us and was a dedicated mother and wife to my Dad. I am proud to say I am her son. I cannot put into words how much she will be missed. I love you Mom.”

John: “A wife is the one who makes your home bright with laughter, fun, and sharing.
A wife is the one who fills all your days with warmth and joy and caring.
A wife is the one who helps you to know the happiness love brings.
A wife is the one who fills your whole life with a world of beautiful things.

Through the 65 years with her love it made our memories so precious,
our dreams so special and our life such a wonderful one.
She will be forever missed.
