Rodney “Nigz” Nadjiwon – suddenly at his Neyaashiinigmiing residence on Thursday October 31, 2024. Rodney Mark Nadjiwon at the age of 39 years. Brother of Beverley “Dababeense”, Frederick, Travis “Wolf”, and Shane “Jew man” (partner Stacey Corbeil), all of Neyaashiinigmiing. Proud ‘uncle Rockey’ to Ogitchitaa “Oge”, Zhimaagan “Mr.Blue eyes”, Aakodewin “AK”, Waaseyaa “Birdie”, Ziibi “young wolf pup”, Emery, Sage Levi, and Dove Levi. Brothers of heart; Chucky & Mikey Keeshig. Sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Camilla Nadjiwon (2022) and “Chico” Roderick Pedoniquott; grandparents, Arnold and Rose, Betty and Robert; Brother Fredrick, uncle Michael and Special aunt Berdina “Aunt Berd”. Rodney was a kind hearted soul, He loved being with his sister “Dababeense” and his close friends. Held his nephews close to his heart as he was always teaching “Oge” something new whether it was in the bush, fishing, or just playing video games. Rodney Loved his Family and friends. He will be truly missed by all. Friends may call at the Maadookii Senior Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing, on Wednesday November 6, 2024 from 4 – 8 PM, where a service to celebrate Rod’s life will be held on Thursday at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, 814 Bruce Rd. 8, Sauble Beach.     When I was struggling your mom gave me a home to stay in and even though ya didn’t know me at all you were always kind and welcoming.
