August 27, 2024 at 8:41 pmCraig, Brent and Jenny,
Roger and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Mother.
Vi was a very special woman whose joy and enthusiasm was simply unmatched in the church when I was there as minister. Vi and your Dad Lloyd strongly supported us in our work; something we are forever grateful for. Vi had a knack of reaching out and making sure that people felt welcome in the community. Roger and I still speak of the time we celebrated Christmas dinner with your family – a feast to remember. Your Morher’s baking skills are also legendary – especially her pies. We are honoured to have had the opportunity to get to know and become friends with both of your parents – we are the better for it.
May God strengthen you at this time of grief, may your anchor hold in this passing storm of life.

August 28, 2024 at 10:59 amSpence, Craig and Family
None of us have ever known a Tobermory without the driving force of Vi Adams. As I settled in this magic place, I went to her home at Christmas time.
I was donating a shoebox filled with a stuffed Canadian beaver, and a colouring book for poor children overseas. I wonder whether Vi’s organized goodwill resulted in some of the skilled specialists working at the Owen Sound Hospital. I must check with my eye doctor next week. Vi will live in our hearts forever. With you, Jan

So sorry to hear about Vi’s passing. What a wonderful life that lady had, with your dad as her partner they were so involved in the growth of the village of Tobermory. The times they spent in the different clubs, their quality time together in Florida after their retirement. Always welcomed our big Nelson family and the table was always blessed with food your mom prepared, everyone was welcome at their table. You kids had one of a kind parents, they will be sadly missed by all whose lives they touched. Together again. Bless them.

September 1, 2024 at 11:38 amDear Craig, Brent and family of Vi….
So sorry to have just learned of the passing of your mother.
We were thinking and speaking of her this June when we finally got across the pond to Ireland.
Her and your dad took my grandpa John Goodfellow to see his birthplace and family. So wonderful and thankful hat she was the one that got that idea going, as Uncle Tom got over here first and the brothers reunited after 62 years. We will be sure to let my dad, Pat’s cousins that she stayed with in ireland, know about this sad news.
Take care, Dave & Cathy Goodfellow
