Virginia Bennett September 3, 2025

Virginia “Ginny” Bennett passed away peacefully at Wiarton Hospital on September 3rd 2025. Ginny was raised, lived and worked at her family’s business, Evergreen Resort. She worked hard making the delicious food and treats for which the resort was known. Ginny was a lover of sunshine and warm weather and days at the beach. She will be remembered by her children Darla, Treasure and Kaleb as well as her grandchildren Oasis, Jericho, Sal, Zephyr, Tristan and Sabina. There will be no service at Ginny’s request. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory can do so to The Women’s Centre Grey & Bruce.

    To friends and family of Virginia. How heart breaking. These things should just not be happening. That was such a chapter of my life hanging out with Mike, Virginia, Connie and the rest of the family and friends of Evergreen.
    Till we see them again when resurrected, we all will miss them dearly.
