Ada Beacock

1930 - 2022

A bright, strong, hardworking, kind and caring person, who always put others first, died peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton on Saturday August 20, 2022. Remembered for her love of her family, life-long friendships and love of her flowers. Ada Caroline Beacock (nee Balls) at the age of 92 years. Dear mother of Carol Ann Greig (late David). Cherished grandmother of Daena (Gabriel Gatto), of Dubai, and Laura (Jonathan Poirier), of Uxbridge; great-grandmother of Anna, Audrey, Payton, Rylan, and Liliane; and sadly missed by her sister and brothers-in-law Hilda Balls, Evelyn Beacock, Marjorie Walser, and Mike Beacock (Eve). Fondly remembered by many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Alf and Elma; husband, Ralph, who Ada was a wonderful wife of for 60 years and a supportive rock to her husband after his accident leaving him paraplegic for 26 years; brothers, Stewart Balls (Katie), and Bill Balls; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie Beacock (Betty), Russel Beacock (Clara), Muriel (Wilf Pruder), Ruby (Bill Downing), Mary (John Aiken), Wesley Beacock (Jean, Shirley), Bernice Beacock, and Neil Walser. Ada was a proud member of Unity Rebekah Lodge #147, Wiarton for over 50 years. Ada’s last wish was that everyone knew she “loved them all”, everyone including family, dear friends, Kelso staff, and thankful for the care she received in the Wiarton Hospital. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Saturday September 3, 2022 from 12-3 PM for a Memorial Gathering to celebrate Ada’s life. there will be a Time of Sharing service at 2 o’clock.
