Of Tobermory, peacefully at her home, after a valiant battle with cancer, on Sunday August 10, 2014. The former Josephine Norma Noble at the age of 70 years. Loving wife and best friend to Stan for over 52 years. Cherished mother to Tony (Karen), of Miller Lake, Sandra (Jamie Mielhausen), of Ferndale, and Bob (Marsha), of Lion’s Head. Proud grandmother of Warren (Cheri), Amanda (Chris), Josie, Jada, Karlee, Travis, and Jessica; and great-grandmother of Lena, Mary, and T.A. Devoted sister of Lois (Doug McLay), of Stokes Bay, and Bobbie (Jim Herr), of St. Thomas; and sister-in-law of Alfred Hofstrand (Maureen), of Kingston, and Karen (Carl Watson), of Tobermory. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Melony, Richard, Martha, Samantha, Codey, Jeff, Jennifer, James, Justin, Chris, Kim, and Kalin. Predeceased by her parents Bob and Lena. Joey’s family invite you to gather with them for visitation at the Tobermory United Church, 5 Brock St., Tobermory on Friday, August 15 from 1-3, where a service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3 o’clock. Please join the family for a reception to follow the service at the Tobermory Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation has taken place.
