Of Oliphant, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Edward Gordon “Ted” Waghorn at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband and best friend to Judy (nee Ralph) for almost 49 years. Proud brother of Louise Breen, and Leslie Waghorn, both of Chesley; and brother-in-law of Michael Ralph (Carol Anne), of Kingston, Martha Ralph (partner Susan Pearce), of Unionville, and Janet (Don Gilroy), of Kingston. Sadly missed by nephews Will, Mike, Mike, and Christopher; and especially missed by John Waghorn. The family wish to thank Dr. John Van Dorp and the staff of the Wiarton Hospital for their wonderful care of Ted throughout the years. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Eva (nee Bonner). Cremation has taken place. Ted and Judy ran Wiarton’s The Gift Shop and the Sears Catalogue Agency for more that 20 years. Ted is a Past-President of the Wiarton Rotary Club.
