Wismer, Barry Thomas – of Port Elgin. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barry on Wednesday February 14th, 2024 at the age of 71. Loving and devoted partner of Linda Harwood. Dear Father to Anne (Tony), of Sault Ste. Marie, Ian (Jazlynne), of Toronto, and Isaac, of Port Elgin. Cherished Grandfather of Tyler, Jessica, Danielle, Kingston, Maya, and Leelu. Brother of Glen (Betty), Marlene and Maureen (Ralph); and sister-in-law Barb (Bill). Sadly will be missed by his nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends, especially his feline companion Ginger (aka dumbell). Family wish to express their deepest gratitude to the entire team of medical professionals for the wonderful care that Barry received. Following a private family service, friends are invited to gather with them for a Celebration of Life Come and Go from 1-4pm at Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton, (519) 534-5341 on Sunday February 18th, 2024. Please come with a song or story to share. Donations made to Toonies for Tummies would be greatly appreciated. Condolences can be left at www.whitcroftfuneralhome.com
