Brandon Ramage July 27, 2026

Brandon Ramage, of Wiarton, suddenly at WRHN – Kitchener on Monday July 27, 2026. Brandon Taylor Ramage at the age of 41 years. Beloved son of John and Marigayle Ramage, of Wiarton. Dear brother of Tyler (partner Chris Dicks), of Toronto. Predeceased by John’s parents, James and Vera Ramage; and Marigayle’s parents, Harry and Ina Bowers.

Brandon had an insatiable appetite for knowledge; his true passion was archaeology and ancient history. In university Brandon studied archaeology. Much like the degree which he never finished, his love of learning and enthusiasm for his studies never ceased through his endless reading of textbooks and online lectures. Brandon considered Sauble Beach as his home. From the age of three, each summer was spent at our family cottage mere steps from the beach. Although the cottage may be gone, he continued to spend as much time as he could at Sauble Beach every summer.

Brandon was a kind, genuine and sensitive soul who’s journey here on Earth has ended. May he always walk along the sand, finding peace, love, and eternal happiness on the other side. A private family celebration of Brandon’s life will take place at a later date.

The family wish to express their gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff of the Wiarton hospital and St. Mary’s hospital, Kitchener for the wonderful care given to Brandon.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Brightshores Health System Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Tyler, John and Marigayle… I am so saddened to hear of Brandon’s untimely passing… I have such fond memories of hanging out in the bunkie as kids playing dumb games and reading comics …having bon fires… and of course playing night tag with him and his cousins and playing in the backyards of his grandmother’s house and ours in Owen Sound. The last time I saw Brandon was right before you moved from the cottage and we spoke briefly through the trees. It was so surprising to see him and recognize that voice behind all that beautiful hair but his eyes hadn’t changed – still so curious, dark and beautiful and still completely confident to say hello when we hadn’t seen each other in decades. He was a formative part of my childhood and a soul gone too soon. I can’t imagine how your hearts ache and I hope in time you feel him all around you. Rest in peace Brandon. 🤎

I was so saddened to hear of Brandon’s passing. He was a truly beautiful human with the biggest heart.

We went to school together and crossed paths often through our late teens and twenties. I still remember the last time I saw him, about ten years ago. He gave me the biggest hug and genuinely wanted to hear all about my family and how life was going. That was just who he was — warm, kind, and someone who truly cared about people.

The world has lost a good one. My deepest condolences.
