Dale Jones - Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral & Chapel

Dale Jones – of Neyaashiinigmiing, suddenly at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on Monday November 6, 2023. Dale Vernon John Jones at the age of 65 years. ‘Dad’ to Kelly (George Theodosiou), of Toronto, Holly Keeshig (partner Cody Lavalley), of Neyaashiinigmiing, and Justine Keeshig (partner Zach Pitawanakwat), of Wikwemikong, Manitoulin Island; grandpa to Mary, Amy, Mckaela, Mackenzie, Mason, Zyrah, and Rowan. Dear brother of Howard (Grace), of Neyaashiinigmiing, Sam (Dorothy), of Owen Sound, Laurie-Ann (Brian Drane), Cheryl Jones, and Rose Jones, all of Neyaashiinigmiing, Roxy Boudrias (late John), of Ottawa, and Kathy Jones, of Neyaashiinigmiing. Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law, Bess Jones, of Toronto; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; his nieces, nephews, and cousins; and by his close friends. Predeceased by his parents, Vernon and Bertha; wife, Lynda (nee Noyce); infant daughter, Carolyn; and son, Mike Jones. Family wish to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff of Victoria Hospital, London, the Dialysis Unit of the Owen Sound hospital, and to the Neyaashiinigmiing Health Centre’s Homecare staff. Visitation will occur at the Cape Croker Community Centre on Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 2-4 PM, where a Traditional Service will take place at 5 o’clock. On Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock, there will be a Community Funeral Service to celebrate Dales life. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. I remember Dale with great fondness. He was often at our house when we were kids, he was a great friend of my brother’s.
