   We got to know Jan and David in 2006 when we acquired a cottage in Tobermory. We were neighbours, one km away on Highway 6, fellow Anglicans and before long, became excellent friends. The Arnolds visited us in London and together we enjoyed performances in Stratford.
   We treasured David and Jan as lovely, kind, thoughtful people and devoted Christians. Jan led Bible study for many years and was a capable lay reader. We were privileged to have known them and we mourn their going.

   My Nana was truly an amazing lady and I will miss her forever. I will miss every birthday card, every picnic she packed me, every day we spent together at the beach, every childhood camping trip, all the nights we spent doing our nails with Avon polish, watching you be involved with the church, every story about England and other countries traveled to. I will miss watching Harry Potter with you and going through family photos and heirlooms, all the times you brought me tea and cookies in bed. I will miss talking about the British royal family and all your stories I will think of you anytime I see a frog or a sunflower and every Easter. ✝️ I will think of you and Papa anytime I visit Tobermory. I know that Papa greeted you at the gate and I know you are together now on the other side. I hope you saw Jesus and I hope you heard angels sing. I love you Nana.

   Jan will be sadly missed. I knew her from the Anglican Church; David was in the Masonic Lodge, and I delivered her mail for 13 years. Our sincere condolences to the Family

   I had the pleasure of meeting Jan many years ago while caring for her husband, David. During COVID, our wellness-check phone calls became an important part of both our lives. Every other week, we would spend about 15 minutes chatting, catching up, and sharing a little brightness in our days. I truly believe those conversations lifted our spirits and meant as much to me as they did to her. Jan became a dear friend, and I will greatly miss our phone visits and the warmth she brought to them. My sincere condolences to her family and all who loved her.

   My husband, Rubbain, and I met Jan when we moved to Tobermory through our dear neighbours Jawn and Carol Kolohon.

   Jan’s loving and warm presence will be sadly missed.

   I have just learned of, and am saddened by Jan’s passing. I knew her and her husband, David, through my mom, Colleen. She was a both funny and classy lady in my limited time with them.My condolences to her family.

   Jan gave me a job that lasted 20 years, even after she retired. I lived in Grand Valley during part of that time. She would have to call in during snow storms to see if I made it in( they were bad at times) and then decided since i made it in if she should try. This was before working at home was a real option. I learned alot from her and even got to go represent our program in the states together at a conference. Thanks for the great memories. RIP

   Alison and family. I am so very sorry to hear that Jan has passed on. She truly will be missed by all who knew her.
