Speckner, Joy – of Wiarton, peacefully at Gateway Haven, Wiarton, on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the age of 99 years. Joy (nee Waite) Beloved wife and best friend of the late Albert “Al” Speckner, who passed in 2020, after 40 years of marriage. Dear mother of David Wilson (Linda), of Clinton, and John Wilson (Laura) and Lyn (Tom Brimson), both of London; and step-mother of Joanne Speckner, and Stephen Speckner, both of London. Cherished grandmother of 10, and great-grandmother of 13. Sister of Jack Waite, of Yorkshire, England. Predeceased by her parents, John and Florence; sister Phyllis Toomey; and her sisters-in-law, Christine Schiller, and Mavis Waite. Private family arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C.
