Marilyn Buston passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Chapman House Residential Hospice, Owen Sound on Wednesday June 11, 2025. The former Marilyn Jean Johnson at the age of 84 years. Dear mother of Donna and her husband, Paul Miller, of Sauble Beach, and Sherry DeMerchant and her partner, Ralph Bolender, of Arthur; and step-mother of Mark Buston and his partner Eileen Jones, and Perry Buston and his wife Caterina Mamone, all of Hamilton. Cherished grandmother of David, Danielle, Brittany, Jake, Jennifer, Ashley, and Megan: and great-grandmother of 9. Sadly missed by her fur-babies, Bella, Rusty, and Aster. Predeceased by her parents, Erwin “Bud” and Edna Johnson; her husband, James Buston (2005); and by her infant granddaughter Ashley Marilyn. Family wish to express their thanks to Dr. Chapman, Dr. Schmidt, and the staff of Chapman House for the wonderful care given to Marilyn. A private family service will occur at Bayview Cemetery and Crematorium, Burlington. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041.
