Vivian Desjardine passed away suddenly at her Neyaashiinigmiing home on Wednesday December 31, 2025. The former Vivian Faye Keeshig at the age of 64 years. Loving wife of Darrell for over 42 years. Dear mother of Cory Desjardine, and Dayna Desjardine (partner Desmond Andrews), all of Neyaashiinigmiing. Cherished grandma of Harvey Andrews. Sister of Patty Lynn Keeshig, and Randy Keeshig (Paula), both of Neyaashiinigmiing, and Olive Wesley, of Toronto; and sister-in-law of Marlene Crouse (late Ron), of Chesley, and Alan Desjardine (Lori), of Palmerston. Sadly missed by her mother-in-law Myrtle Desjardine (late Murton), of Hanover; and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Garnett “Mickey” and Iola Keeshig; and a brother-in-law, Jim Desjardine. Family wish to express their thanks to the First Responders for their care of Vivian. Public visitation will occur from the Maadookii Senior Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing on Tuesday January 6, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where a traditional service will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041.     I am very saddened by the passing of dear Vivian. She was always so kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us when Jo-Anna left. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May your beautiful memories of her bring comfort to you. I will miss her. 🧡
