Howie was a great guy who contributed much to our community both personally and professionally and will always be remembered in part as the ‘County Mounty’. I admired him greatly and always enjoyed my interactions over the years at family functions, Busmen & Redmen games and the Hunt Camp.
May it help to know friends are thinking of you, and may fond memories give you comfort and strength,

As I travel the roadways of Bruce County I have and always will remember the picture of this man his family has chosen to post. Our ‘Uncle Howie’ overseen the construction of many of them. Especially in the northern section of the county. With that same smile on his face, his stories of road building demonstrated his love and commitment to his work and set an example of work ethic for our entire family.
My condolences go out to Aunt Maisie and everyone in your family as you mourn and grieve your loss.

Oh my so sorry to see this. So many memories of Howie and Maisie from the curling club. Curling in Wiarton, Lions Head and Listowel. Howie also attended many spiels with Fred Urbshott, Peter Pegg and Kelly. Many stories came back from those trips. When Howie would tell them, he had that same smile as in this picture. He could hardly contain himself. He loved to laugh and mostly when things happened to others. Thinking of Maisie, Sharon, Donnie, Brian, Roger and their families. I know him and uncle Buck are up there looking down on us and catching up. Rest in Peace our wonderful friend.
