Chegahno, Lisa – of Purple Valley, suddenly at Brightshores Health System – Wiarton on Thursday March 28, 2024. Lisa Michelle Chegahno (nee Urbshott) at the age of 51 years. Loving wife and best friend of Shane for over 30 years. Devoted mother of Trenton Chegahno (partner Taylor Stoddart), of Neyaashiinigmiing, Taylor Chegahno (partner River Jones), and Ty Chegahno (partner Erica Thompson), both of Purple Valley. Cherished daughter of Herb and Norma Urbshott, of Wiarton; and daughter-in-law of Judy Chegahno, of Wiarton. Sister of Leanne Paton (late George), of Woodstock, Leah Urbshott (partner Jeff Weber), of Tara, and Lincoln Urbshott (wife Laurie), of Georgian Bluffs; and sister-in-law of Kristen Chegahno, of Neyaashiinigmiing. Predeceased by Shane’s father Keith Chegahno (2021). Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Family wish to express their gratitude to the First Responders, and the doctors and nursing staff of the Wiarton Hospital for the outstanding care given to Lisa. Family invite friends to gather for visitation at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 5-8 PM, where a service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. She touched so many peoples lives and we are grateful for the time we got to spend with her and have her apart of our lives. I am so honored to have gotten to know her over the years. My favorite memories of Lisa is seeing her and Leah dancing at the wedding of Matt, Jessica and Jocelyn.
